Why is your age different?

A "year" is simply the time it takes for a planet to complete one full orbit around the Sun. Because every planet in our solar system is at a different distance from the Sun and travels at a different speed, the length of their years vary significantly.

For example, Mercury is very close to the sun and moves extremely fast, completing its year in just 88 Earth days.Neptune, however, is so far away that it takes about 165 Earth years just to complete a single orbit!

Space Fact:

While a year on Venus is 224 Earth days, it takes 243 Earth days to rotate once on its axis. This means a day on Venus is longer than its year!
